My name is Jennifer Forest and I come from a professional background in education and museums. After university, I taught history and business, worked in project management roles for government and as a curator in museums. My latest job is as a freelance curator, a fantastic experience!
I love history, architecture & buildings, the 18th & 19th century, design and creating. My muse and constant companion in my office is Harry, a miniature daschund.
I love all things Jane Austen so this lead to a couple of books including my book Jane Austen’s Sewing Box, which came out in 2009 and was very popular! I took the craft mentioned by Jane Austen in her novels, put them in their historical context and provided you with instructions to make your own authentic Regency craft project. My next book Behind Jane Austen’s Door is about to be released.
